A success story

Meet Justin Nshimiyimana

We met Justin in Kigali in December of 2022, when he was a tourism student at the Rwanda Tourism Institute. Justin is an amazing young man with a gentle heart and an insatiable  intellect. He lost his mother during the Rwandan genocide and went to live with family in Musanze district, where volcanoes national park is located. Justin’s upbringing and his extensive knowledge of the history, flora and fauna of Rwanda drove him to start a business in tourism. He was such an amazing guide during our time in Rwanda taking great care to provide us with the most outstanding experiences.As we got know Justin a bit better we began to understand how hard he had to work, sometimes skipping meals to afford his books and school fees. We were so inspired by Justin’s drive and wonderful nature that now we are proud to announce that Justin’s school fees were paid in full by Yooo! Rwanda Foundation. 
Since then, Justin’s tourism business has been steadily growing. Real Life Safaris has been providing amazing tours throughout Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda ever since. We are honored to know Justin and so proud of his accomplishments!  In addition to his work, Justin continues to pay it forward by hiring interns to work with him in his growing company.
